The Things That Don’t Actually Matter

We so often take things for granted.
That has been incessantly said over and over again. This is however the undeniable truth.
The things around us slowly turn into the air. We forget that they’re there so we toss them and forget about them. What we don’t realise is we need those things more than everything else. We develop a predilection for the unimportant and material stuff. We forget about those that keep us going.

We have happiness and sadness.
One emotion ,certainly, cannot exist without the other.
If happiness existed and we had no sadness , everyone would assume happiness was unimportant. The pursuit of happiness is important as we have to constantly remind ourselves that we don’t need material objects to make us happy. In the pursuit of happiness we realise that usually the impalpable things are what we truly desire.
The gist of this is that we need to stop once in a while and think about the happiness that is all around is. Take in everything , slowly , and appreciate what we have been blessed with.
